Pricing
Versions
If
you own the full version of Success Pricing, create a new pricing version
before updating your prices. Doing so allows you to honor prices quoted
to clients who booked before the pricing change. Success Pricing can
store as many versions of your prices as you like.
To create a new pricing version, do the following:
1) Hold down the shift key while launching SuccessWare.
2) Click the Success Pricing button.
3) Choose New Version from the Versions menu.
4) Enter the date the new prices will take effect into the Effective
Date field.
5) Click the OK button. Success Pricing will create the new pricing
version, copying the current version as a starting point.
When a client who booked before the price change places their order,
simply make sure the Pricing Version pop up menu under the Ordered Items
tab in the Add Orders window is set to the effective date of the appropriate
version of your prices. When you enter an ordered product, Success Tracking
automatically fills in its price based on the prices set in the specified
pricing version.
