Search Example 3

Let's say you want a listing of all clients who purchased your "8x10 Promo" product. Since purchased products are part of an order's order items, you must search for the orders containing the product first, then search for the clients of the found orders. You search for the orders by changing the "Find the clients" pop up menu to "Find the orders." Below is what the More Choices search window would look like. Read it from left to right and top to bottom. It says, "Find the orders within all orders that have an order item with a product that is 8x10 Promo and make them the current set of orders."

Then, you would find the clients for the found orders. Below is what the More Choices search window would look like. Read it from left to right and top to bottom. It says, "Find the clients within all clients that have an order that is in the current set of orders and make them the current set of clients." Notice that the enterable field is blank since we are not searching for a value.
