Finding People
SuccessWare contains many fields that allow you to find or specify clients and prospects by their names quickly and easily. Use the following tips to facilitate your searches using these fields.
Enter the first
few letters of the person's last name into the field and press tab. Doing
so locates all clients or prospects whose last name begins with the entered
letters. If more than one person matches, you will be asked to select
the correct one from a list.
To avoid matching
other people, enter the first few letters of the person's last name followed
by a comma and the first few letters of their first name, then press tab.
Doing so locates all clients or prospects whose last and first names begin
with the entered letters. If more than one person matches, you will be
asked to select the correct one from a list. For example, to find a person
named Danny Jones, you could enter "j,d."
To easily replace
the contents of a "Find" field, click the field name, click
the leftward pointing arrow at the right side of the field, press the
Home key, or press the F5 function key. Doing so will highlight the entire
field allowing you to type over the existing entry. Note that the field
is not highlighted if the cursor was already within the field.
