Credit Card Preferences

• If the Preferences window is not already displayed, choose Preferences from the File menu.

• If the credit card preferences are not already displayed, click Credit Cards in the list located on the left side of the Preferences window.

• Check the Validate Entered Credit Card Numbers if you want SuccessWare to make a quick check to see if entered numbers are valid.

This check does not make sure that the credit card number is associated with an actual card holder's account. It merely makes sure that the entered number could be a valid credit card number.

• Check Automatically Process Transaction Immediately After Credit Card Swipe if you wish to have SuccessWare send the transaction to your payment processor right after you swipe a credit card.

Normally, this is only done after you click the Done button under the list of payments. Checking this box will save you time by not requiring you to click Done after swiping credit cards.

• Make a selection from the Automatically Print a Receipt After Charging Manually Entered Cards pop up menu.

• Click Supported Credit Card Readers to get a list of readers that have been tested with SuccessWare.
