Correspondence History Preferences
If the Preferences window is not already displayed, choose Preferences from the File menu.
If the correspondence history preferences are not already displayed, click Correspondence History in the list located on the left side of the Preferences window.
Check or uncheck the Log Correspondence for Clients and Prospects check boxes.
If you want SuccessWare to automatically log correspondence, check one or both of the boxes. If you do not, uncheck them.
If you checked the Clients or Prospects boxes, use the pop up menus on the left side of the Log Correspondence When area to specify when SuccessWare should automatically log an entry for each type of correspondence.
Selecting Never will prevent SuccessWare from automatically logging correspondence of the specified type. For example, selecting Never from the Sending E-mail pop up menu will prevent automatic logging for sent E-mail messages. Choosing Always will log correspondence every time it is sent. If you select Ask, SuccessWare will ask you if you want to create an automatic log entry each time correspondence is sent.
Set the description of the correspondence to enter into the log from the pop up menus on the right side of the Log Correspondence When area.
Each pop up menu corresponds to the type of correspondence listed on its left. There is a Description to Use pop up menu for sending E-mail, printing letters, and printing labels. Selecting Ask tells SuccessWare that you want to enter a custom description each time the specified type of correspondence is automatically logged. Choosing "...file name" will set the description to the file name of the E-mail message, letter, or label file. Selecting "...subject" will set the description to the subject of the E-mail message or letter.
