Removing Tab Stops

Deleting tabs using the ruler

• Select the paragraphs to which this change will apply.

  See What Is A Paragraph? in this section.

• Drag the tab stop marker anywhere below the ruler.

Deleting tabs using the Tabs window

• Select the paragraphs to which this change will apply.

  See What Is A Paragraph? in this section.

• Choose Tabs from the Format menu.

  The Tabs window appears.

• In the Tabs list, select the tab you want to delete.

• Click the Delete button.

  The tab stop is removed from the list.

• Click the OK button.

  The setting for this tab is removed from the current paragraph.
