Q. When I attempt to empty the trash on my Macintosh, I get a message saying "The operation cannot be completed because the item SRPro261.4CX (or SRPro261b4.4CX) is in use." What should I do?

This is being caused by a bug in MacOS X 10.4.x (Tiger). We are looking for a workaround. In the meantime, do the following:

1) Choose Empty Trash from the Finder menu.

2) When you see the message, click Continue (as many times as the message
appears).

3) Choose Secure Empty Trash from the Finder menu.
